      - Salary is often less than other firms. - Tends to hire younger and in company for management or senior roles, potentially a cost savings strategy. - Can be demanding, requiring significant overtime/discretionary effort to maintain expectations of leadership. - Some members of leadership are old-school (think Jack Welch) in terms of style and behavior, but there is some shift to a more inclusive and collaborative workplace. - Personal development and growth is all about who your manager is, and how much time your manager can devote. My experience is that 25% of the time this can be a good arrangement, and 75% of the time leave you wanting. -
