Pros

Flexible work schedules, work from home

Cons

If you are an average white male, you will do great things at Eaton. However, if you identify as any other gender or race, you will be overlooked, ignored, under valued and spoken down to. Also underpaid! They fire capable people and hire less qualified individuals, eliminating roles and pushing work onto others, and/or move your job to Pune, India. Very flexible WFH policy though, which is nice when you don’t feel like being around your sexist manager! The legal department is a mess. They haven’t hired a new general counsel in about a year, and everything is very inefficient. Poor communication.

Pros

Competitive pay, semi-flexible work arrangements, great people to work with

Cons

Lean company that expects you to perform multiple jobs, No hesitation to implement mandatory unpaid time off when business performance is lacking (often the first go-to correction), Short-sighted leadership decision making. Be prepared to move to Cleveland if you wish to move into bigger opportunities
