Pros
Lots of hours & great coworkers. The long term patients are wonderful and the place has a lot of enrichment activities and great physical therapists.
Cons
Heavy workload. Unsafe at times. No time to interact with patients. Unrealistic expectations to be flexible to be a HUC during your shift when one wasn’t scheduled. Unrealistic expectations to chart every patient every shift. Also given additional requests given to you randomly as if you have time to accomplish those even though you already wish you could be spending time with patients. No policy or safety measures for staff for administering Chemo or cleanup. Had to retrain a lot to fix internal Issues when ficus should have been preventative to avoid issues all together.
