Too many chiefs and not enough Indians

Pros

Good pay, vacation and sick time. Work/life balance was good. Work was relatively easy most of the time, hours were good.

Cons

There are a lot of people with the “manager” title behind their name that didn’t need it or warrant it. Micro management was a common theme. If you are a complete fool, you get promoted or praised. If you work hard, do your job well......but your opinion differs from management or maybe you are more outspoken than management would like, you are stuck. A bunch of “yes” men, middle management didn’t think for themselves. Used to be a family run and oriented business, now it’s a snobby, “we are better than you” culture.

Pros

This company is very selective about the employees they hire. Everyone I have worked with has been a pleasure. Training available to anyone who takes the initiative to pursue further opportunities. Supportive management and sales team. I have never felt like I was clueless or could not ask a question and get a detailed answer. Benefits are stellar and available after a very short period of time. Family oriented and diverse company.

Cons

Can be hectic on some days, but it is balanced out by the slow days. Depends on the season. Some branches make a lot of mistakes which in turn can affect your branch.
