Pros

Great commute. If your boss lets you, remote work may be possible.

Cons

Benefits are very weak and eroding yearly, as compared to other employers. The 401K is more expensive than most and it takes 5 years to vest. Two weeks of vacation is maximum unless you negotiate something under the table. Bullying took place in several forms, and HR was ineffective in correcting it.

Pretty easy going working environment, and low pressure on compromising work/life balance.

Cons

Lacks competitive benefits package among the many high tech companies in the valley. Cramped, noisy work environment, sometimes difficult to find quiet time to focus on solving problems.

Ok to work for just dont expect more than bare bone benefits

Pros

Good people, good learning opportunities and laid back environment. Good starting company, Long term don't recommend.

Cons

Benefits/Vacation time. You get 3 weeks vacation (120hrs) time after 5 years, But at 10 years service they let you use your sick time (40 hrs) as vacation. Gee, thanks. At 20 years you do get 4 weeks (160hrs) but how many work at the same company for 20 years. Very small raises. Unless you come in at a good salary you could always be making lower wages. Healthcare benefits are horrible to the point I bought out of the company system.
