Pros

you learn a lot (when you join right out of college) you get put on projects immediately

Cons

pretty bad management (as far as planning, architecture etc goes)

Pros

Love my atmosphere, coworkers, nature of my position. I've promoted up from absolute bottom to a corporate setting. Continually challenged and pushed to learn more constantly.

Cons

Pay and benefits are a definite bust. It seems to be common within the company to withold the best pay for individuals hired from outside the company instead of solid pay increases for people promoting from within.

Pros

I work with some very good, friendly, and competent people. The atmosphere is a bit laid-back in the right ways. At least at the 'micro' level of management, there's a level of recognition for hard work.

Cons

It's really just a place to work. They tend to pie-in-the-sky estimate software delivery schedules, expect weekends, and then the raises don't measure-up to the increased revenue figures in the quarterly statements. No real solid route of advancement.
