biggest competitor will be other ecolab employees. Territory boundries are non-existant or not enforced. Current bonus structure is complicated and almost impossible to acheive. Income growth is slow or stagnant. Very cliquish. If your not one of the 'in' crowd, your not going anywhere. Current street level managers are generally incompitant compared to what they used to be. Most could care less about the people that work for them, only about themselves and getting ahead. There are two types of people that work for ecolab, those that can do nothing wrong (the 'in' crowd), and those that can do nothing right. If your working for them, and not promoted before your 35, get out. The only ones that are looked on favorably are white males, under 40 years old with a full head of hair.
