Pros

Good teamwork for the most part between the nursing assistants and staff nurses. Also, the other floor nurses were a great support to each other.

Cons

Upper management not very supportive of floor staff. I was personally was falsely accused of stealing money from a resident. And yet I was allowed to keep my job! Probably because they had no real proof and this particular manager had a personal grudge against me.

Pros

Absolutely love my coworkers. (There's only a select few that ruin it, as with anywhere). Never a shortage of hours when you want to pick up. Variety of patients/residents. Great first nursing job to gain experience.

Cons

Very little room for advancement. More mandation than there should ever be. Extra short staffed. Upper management (the ones who count), are clueless. Extremely underpaid for this position.
