Pros

Free food and drinks. Nice office space. Convenient location.

Cons

Clearly one of the worst companies in Silicon Valley. No tech/product innovation. Engineering moves slower than snail.Tech leadership consists of a bunch of people who have stayed in the company for more than 10 years. They have no idea how outdated their tech stack is in comparison to the outside world. Their flagship product is still paying their bills. Worker bees are constantly pulled between conflicting priorities. No transparency and no empowerment given to employees. High attrition rate across all levels, people are hired by giving them false hopes. If you are an engineer who wants to do something exciting then this is not the right place for you. Recruiters are hiring engineers who have no drive and are looking for a laid back job. New ideas are constantly shot down due to too many stakeholders and by giving power to the wrong people in the room. Constantly changing vision with no explanation given. Salaries are poor. Bonus is not even worth mentioning. Their stock price has been on a constant decline from the highs in 2013 and is only moving downwards. Come here if you don't get job elsewhere.

Pros

A common draw for many employees and something that everyone can rally behind is the company's mission of helping anyone with their retirement planning.

Cons

An extremely challenging place to get things done, because projects have to be approved by too many people. The company is notorious for starting some initiative and not following through with it completely.
