      Great agency that can do better integrating its resources

      Pros

      Great place to work and develop your PR skills. Invests behind its Thought Leadership, both dollars and mindshare, helping employees think beyond the traditional PR definition. Truly is what you make it - if there is something you want to do and can make the business case for it, doors are pretty wide open. Smart people, great clients, amazing work.

      Cons

      Geographic, practice and specialty group silos can make putting together the best team and best resources for clients challenging. That is getting better, though.

      Pros

      You can get a lot of Edelman, if you choose, to especially to develop your own careers and new skill sets.

      Cons

      Usually not interested in ideas outside of the status quo, a lot of back patting and self-congratulatory talk, not a lot willingness to think outside the box despite what they think. Focus is on upper level employees.

      Pros

      The people, the leadership team and human resources leadership in D.C., the fact that most of the leaders care about employees, listen to employees and make it a pleasure to come to work every day. There's also a good client service focus, as there should be. Quality work is done and demanded. People are held accountable for behaviors for the most part.

      Cons

      Some of the leaders outside of the DC office are not always honest and collaborative. There is far too much politics and back-stabbing.
