Fun, and hip place to work. Chaning with trends of field and adapting well. There is never a dull moment.

Cons

Long hours, difficicult clients, hard to balance life and work and still perfrom at the high level that is expected

Pros

Management is very supportive of work-life balance. Client/project load is very reasonable.

Cons

Recruitment could be more selective - often times they look to fill the slot as fast as possible. The account teams then pay a high price for team members who aren't a good fit. Additionally the expectations and corresponding responsibilities given to more junior level employees are far below those at competitive firms. Coming from another agency (making a lateral move) I felt like I'd gone back two years in time when I started at Edelman.

Not really a pro, but nobody there expects anyone to be accountable of anything, nobody ever gets fired for mistakes Roster of easily recognizable clients Opportunities to travel Global company, some of the international projects are quite interesting Inspiring owner/CEO

Cons

No work-life balance, No feedback or mentorship Senior management in the West Coast digital group is under-qualified or straight out incompetent Senior management functions based on old cliques, professionalism and competence are secondary Creativity is not valued, pitched ideas are safe to mediocre
