Pros

Tons of learning tools. Great people.

Cons

Extremely long hours, working nights and weekends to get stuff done. There is no work-life balance. Way underpaid for the amount of hours put in. Everyone is burnt out at the age of 26. If you have the option, don’t work here!

I truly hope you'll reach out to your local HR person to discuss your workload. While our industry can produce long hours, we try to make sure employees are able to find the right balance throughout their weeks and months to keep things reasonable. I hope you'll give us the opportunity to look into your situation. Maria O'Keeffe, Executive Director, US HR

Pros

Great benefits, culture, work/life balance

Cons

Administrative Staff has to deal with a Manager who is backstabbing and unable to keep confidential information to herself. Administrative Assistants have no room for growth.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I hope you'll consider reaching out to your former HR contact or me directly to discuss your feedback, so we can have the opportunity to look into your concerns. Since you didn't indicate your office, it's unclear where exactly these challenges may lie. I hope to hear from you soon. Maria O'Keeffe, Executive Director, US HR

Pros

Smart people, easy to build relationships there

Cons

Being paid for the amount of work you do here is simply out of the question. They churn through junior staff based on the prestigious name, but the pay and opportunities just don't match it.

I can't help but agree with you on Edelman being filled with smart people; it's one of the things about the firm that keeps me motivated and satisfied as an employee myself. I'm disappointed to hear your feedback related to employee churn, however, as our junior staff are integral to the agency and the future leaders for Edelman. While we do our best to keep our compensation, benefits packages and trainings competetive within the industry, I'll work with my teams to ensure we evaluate our programs to support and provide tools to help our current and future employees better manage their work, so thank you for your feedback.
