Pros
The hiring process was smooth. I saw the job posting and applied just before going to bed. When I woke up, I found an email inviting me to an interview. The interview was held virtually, and I felt welcomed and comfortable. After I was hired, I was assigned a mentor who supported me during the first 30 days. She helped answer any questions and held weekly Zoom meetings with me.
Cons
My equipment was delayed, and this information wasn’t communicated to everyone. As a result, I was unable to attend meetings on my first day, leading some to mistakenly believe I had left the job shortly after starting.
