-Salaries are abysmal even when the money is there, they don't prioritize their people. -Bad comms practices: administrators will go months without getting back to you, making it harder to do your job -Toxic work environment with no consequences for awful management or harmful teaching practices -No opportunity for upward feedback -Often unprofessional and there's a lack of accountability

Employees are leaving and/or retiring at an alarming rate, between 2 to 5 people a week. The morale is at an all-time low. Management is now performed in a vacuum. AFT Local 4254 no longer provides effective and timely representation. Excuses abound for the high degree of inaction. The senior administration (President, Human Resources), continues to destroy morale as they have for the past few years. It is definitely an "us versus them" attitude. Instructional staff are no longer appreciated or valued. Many of my colleagues are staying because they simply need a paycheck. Most are planning on leaving ASAP.
