Cons

Sr. Management does not have a clear strategy No growth, and not much upward growth Most executives have been here too long, and are not familar with best practices (most would not be hired by other companies for the same positon)

Pros

The benefits are good and the time off policy is way generous. Offices are in a perfect location. Very cool game room to hang out in and relieve stress during the workday.

Cons

TOO MANY INCOMPETENT LEADERS! There are some good ones but generally, people are promoted based on how long they've been there and who they are friends with. These "leaders" are not given training for their newly inflated title. Imagine the "leadership" that dominates this company. A lot of the people who stay there long term are there because their skills are lacking and no other company will touch them. Look at all the great people leaving and then look at those still there, year after year after year. It is a very exclusive culture - all of a sudden you can find yourself on the outs and no one will tell you why, until review time, of course. lol. New people rarely stand a chance. But, if you are part of the "in" crowd, there are no consequences, no matter what you do (or don't, lol). Unless you get on the bad side of someone and all of a sudden you are the one on the outs. Karma? And forget bringing any issue to HR as you will definitely experience backlash from the company "leaders" for doing so. Everyone knows it, too, its a place where people are afraid to speak out and to actually attempt to do their job the right way. The company is also way overstaffed -- likely to make up for the incompetency of the employees they will not lay off or fire. Halve the number of employees (do you really need more than 150 people for what you offer and how much revenue you generate?) and the company will not only run smoother but the owners will have more money in their pockets! And talk about process run amok. Too much bureacracy for what should be a nimble dot com.
