Pros

EdDy gives recent college grads some good experience in the corporate world, and seasoned professionals are given freedom to do what they want as long as they meet their numbers.

Cons

Your feedback to superiors really doesn't matter. All this company cares about are their lead numbers (how many individuals [leads] use EdDy's services to sign up to go back to college) and making a profit. They really don't care how many people actually ENROLL in the schools that they sell these individuals' information to, just that they get the revenue from colleges around the United States for these peoples' information and what program they're interested.

Pros

Remote work culture, flexibility, decent benefits and pay, nice coworkers.

Cons

Multiple layoffs in the almost 2 years I was there. Too many different platforms across teams and accounts used for communication and file storage. For example, some teams use Jira, some use ClickUp, some use Google Drive, others use Microsoft OneDrive. No SOPs across teams so transferring accounts is not a smooth process.

Pros

The company is great, you do get to work with some amazing people. The benefits are solid; unlimited PTO, company discounts on hotels, fun culture, they invest heavily in your training, and want to see you succeed

Cons

The Enrollment Coach role just wasn’t for me. I came from another admissions job and the pay was significantly lower for this position. With the cost of living increasing and inflation, I had to look for something with higher pay. I also didn’t like how strict the KPI’s were, the compliance stuff, how you have to be hard wired into the internet, your calls and screen is recorded and scored, you basically follow a script when talking to students. It seemed like a lot for little pay.
