Lower level good, upper level BAD

Pros

Great group of team players at the worker level. Very accommodating of your personal life, reasonable pay and the opportunity to talk with upper level management when necessary. The chances to grow come when those above you leave suddenly or are fired, but there's still the potential for promotion and growth. Lead generation experience in the digital space if you're looking to get into that realm.

Cons

Upper management is extremely disorganized and about half of them have serious denial issues regarding responsibility for themselves and their teams. With such a great group of workers pulling the day to day load for this company, you'd expect management to at least be decent, but aside for a couple exceptions they are very short sided and simple minded. This mismanagement leads to lower morale and encourages those in middle management to also be non responsible and defensive when issues come up that they're involved in. How about you act like adults and address issues head on rather then avoiding them and placing blame on those who initially flag the issue(s)?! If you starting doing that, the company would increase productivity by at least 50% immediately. Lastly, don't fall for the phony "we care about you" attitude that HR and the execs want you to believe, the only loyalty is to those employed when others abruptly leave and the team's desperate to fill chairs, otherwise you're just another worker to stack piles of nonsense on until you finally break or they decide to close your office., whichever happens first.

Company headed in bad direction

Pros

The only pro about the company is really the peers. Working amongst friends, makes a hard work day more bearable. The teams often get together for happy hours outside the office, which has made long lasting relationships.

Cons

The company has very poor communication, poor leadership, and a lack of direction. The only focus of the leadership seems to be short term budget, and not long term commitment to the employees or company. Everyday there is a new top priority and the overall way of thinking is Act First, Think Second. While it is an ever changing business, there does not seem to be focus on the future, rather how do we meet the numbers today.

Don't take a job here unless you're a vp or senior director.

Pros

The people are pretty nice, although literally everyone hates their job.

Cons

The management is bad. Pretty much everyone complains that if you're a director or above, you can't get fired, but if you're below, you are expendable. They literally fire lower level people every year to make budget. A high level person sent out an email to everyone with all salaries shown. Nothing happened. There are also two units of the business that have done nothing but fail and everyone who works in them leaves or is fired - except the incompetent senior directors and vps. All this company cares about is trying to make budget. No career growth, no mentor type things, team building, bad salaries. Everyone talented leaves. Or gets fired. I'm leaving soon too. Save yourself, don't work here.
