Pros
Mostly everyone: -wants to collaborate -feels purpose with the organization -cares about colleagues My direct supervisor is fantastic. Very supportive, flexible, personable, interested in my growth, innovative, collaborative, and empowering. My supervisor makes a point to ensure I am okay and have what I need to succeed. The benefits are fair. Work/life balance and flexibility are encouraged. I felt the on boarding process was simple. I have all the tools I need to do my job well. The leadership team seems genuinely interested in the well being of staff. John O'Brien is authentic and engages with the staff consistently which adds of level of making the organization feel closer. -
Cons
Silos are definitely an issue but that's every organization so it's not a unique con. Decision making can be slow, but decisions aren't made in a vacuum and are fully vetted. That is appreciated even if it can be slow. The annual merit structure does not account for inflation to ensure staff aren't making less money each year which is a little odd. A guaranteed 2%-3% each year to at least keep pace with inflation seems like the norm.
