Pros

resources you would expect from a larger firm, good medical, a 401k does exist

Cons

lack of experienced leadership, unwillingness to teach/train employees, highly political, retaliation tactics, gas lighting on expectations of skillsets, goals, and deliverables, threats given in a double-speak fashion, no development opportunities from leaders, and most of all a fundamental issue with middle and upper middle management treating the firm as their own personal club. The idea of Jones at the top is that you exist as an employee and there is no partnership between management and its employees

Pros

Overall, the company is successful.

Cons

Greedy CEO, moving to more contractors in the corporate workplace (so they can say they don’t do layoffs), moving parts of back office support overseas to cut costs, suppressed corporate office bonuses while maintaining level bonuses for Financial Advisors and the most senior leadership (since 2020).
