      Profit Sharing, Health Savings Account, 401(k) matching, limited partnership offering, possible significant bonuses

      Cons

      Working with only one other person (supervisor). Each Edward Jones branch has one financial advisor and one branch administrator. Great for the client, but not good for the branch assistant. Some of the financial advisor's are great at their job, but does not know how to manage a business. Hard for home office to intervene when there is a problem since it is only the financial advisor and the branch assistant in the office. Basically comes down to one's person story vs. the other.

      Edward Jones is fir honest, hard working people who want to be successful

      Pros

      I can't think of a more amazing company. Fair, trustworthy, supportive...and I can go on fir hours. They hired me as a single mom who learned English 7 years before the hiring date. I became a successful advisor because I was fully supported by everyone around me. I am now working on CFP certification. I would have never imagined to be able to get where I am. Edward Jones believed in me more than I believed in myself. I worked EXTREMELY hard and as promised, now I have a great business and I am very grateful for serving my awesome clients. This is not a career for people who want a salary and a comfortable office chair.

      It's extremely difficult at the beginning and it requires emotional strength and family support.

      No expense spared in training. Conservative nature is good for clients.

      Cons

      Very, very difficult to earn a decent salary as FA unless you receive an office with assets or are given a portion of someone else's book.
