Pros
Egnyte has great technology and they are very responsible financially. The fact that they pay way below market for their employees is what makes it a very safe place to work.
Cons
The company continues to limp along but never seems to want to exit. Very mediocre talent with below average salary. Middle management typically comes over from some large company and rests on their laurels. Most notably, Egnyte does not have the respect of other tech company leadership so getting the next role after Egnyte is even more difficult.
