Big firm resources - they offer good big corporation experience as in happy hours, nice office, good research tools, and annual training on regulation and legislation. Dinner was provided during the busy season if you stay past 8. Coworkers are friendly.

Cons

Like most public accounting firms, they run jobs per budget hours. If you are not familiar with the projection and spent too much time (per their definition 5-hour budget return should not take you 5.5 hours to finish), it is not acceptable. At the same time, if they required 60 chargeable hours per week and you only worked 64 hours ( which is higher than 60 right?), that is not acceptable either. Because they are really looking for 75 or 80. Very interesting management style. If you can work the hours, you will grow fast but do not expect to get paid fairly.

The team I worked under had great experience and almost always had an answer to my question. My excel skills were sharpened at this location.

Cons

Management was distracted with their own life problems which did not allow them to train me to my full potential in my opinion.
