It's professional but not stuffy, if that makes sense. I've learned from so many different teams and leadership actually values what you bring to the table.

Cons

Working across teams means a lot of meetings and coordination, sometimes feels like you're managing people more than work.

Cons

Under market pay, no pay raises for two years. New York controls your destiny, not those you work with everyday. Hope the twenty pieces of silver were worth it.

My tax knowledge has grown so much here. Team genuinely supports each other and the international assignments look great on your resume.

Cons

International work sounds fun and it is, but dealing with different tax laws and unexpected call timings can be exhausting sometimes.
