The majority of the physicians are great to work alongside and are receptive to RN input. 95% of the time we receive all of our breaks. Fellow RNs on this unit are helpful and there is a teamwork atmosphere.

Cons

Training to new specialized treatments (IABP, CRRT, CT surgery) can be difficult to get if you are not already trained to those specialties or their specific equipment.

Nice doctors and nurses and good freeway access

Cons

Now growth opportunity benefits are so so and the human resources department has a revolving door of temps. It seems there is very little diversity among employees there.
