      Pros

      I came to Elanco for the culture and have been here for 19 years.. The ability to have open conversations is a big plus for me. I can be an out gay man here. Recently we have had company-wide forums on race and racism. I have been impressed by the candor and vulnerability of Elanco people in these conversations. They have been some of the most emotionally powerful moments of my life.

      Cons

      Sometimes Elanco's bias for action can get us into "Shoot, ready, aim" situations, but I would still rather do that than endlessly plan and contemplate.

      Pros

      I work with a team of veterinarians, nutritionists and animal scientists that have no ego. We are a team and no one worries about who gets credit. We work together to help our farm animal veterinarians and livestock producers have a healthier herd and a more profitable business. Our senior leadership team is humble, transparent and inspiring. Jeff Simmons , our CEO should run for President of the US. He is a tremendous leader.

      It is easy to overload your schedule because you want to say "yes" to every exciting opportunity to help your colleagues and serve our customers.
