Pros

Elanco has been established for quite some time and is growing in the animal health market in both commercial and companion. The number of employees working for Elanco creates much movement and opens opportunities for growth.

Cons

With the recent news of Elanco going IPO, benefits are changing, which will mostly impact future retirees. The pension is going away as is medical coverage for those retiring in the future.

Pros

Good people. At the worker bee level. Customer facing staff are technically sound and have built strong brand despite back office lack of game.

Cons

-most mid and executive level leadership appear in over their head. -lots of talk about strategy. But no evidence one exists. All tactical, all the time. -"execution" is goal because execution isn't always done great

Pros

good insurance, decent pay, opportunities for growth/change, good science behind products

Cons

zero teamwork, every man for himself atmosphere, terrible work/life balance, constant fear of being laid off, bloated salesforce, terrible communication from managers, fear based leadership, it is clear that the only thing that matters is proving recent acquisitions were not a mistake by meeting the company dollar goal whether it's through sales or by cutting budgets and layoffs, micromanaging, ZERO company morale - expect to leave meetings overwhelmed and defeated instead of excited and full of pride, rarely a chance to play offence in the field, new products are becoming "me too" products
