Education for a new home health hospice nurse was a bit lacking, lacking in mentors right now, I boarding was heavy on sitting and doing computer work

I have worked in hospice many years. I don’t need to be micro managed. High turn over.

Pros

Love working with the patients. There is nothing about the actual job I dislike. It is a privilege to work with the patients I am with daily.

Cons

Lack of staff. Lack of concern for employees. Patient/clinician ratio high and unfair to all. Unrealistic expectations put on employees. Lack of commitment from coworkers secondary to low moral.
