Pros

Time off during the Holidays.

Cons

IT Leadership - very cliquey with subordinates and noticeable favorites. Little to no work life balance regardless if you have that things scheduled. Be ready to log in evenings and weekends. The IT staff personal life doesn't matter. Raises are minimal like 1-2% unless you are a favorite or kiss leadership backside.

- You get to travel - If you love the Election industry, a great exposure

Cons

- Bad Management - Unqualified tenured people making key decisions in a vacuum - Top down decision making - Doesn't care about the talent - Favoritism and nepotism at its best - Individual contributors doing all the work, no appreciation or rewards, Management taking all credit and taking luxurious trips. Layoff of the people who worked hard and paid with their job due to bad decisions made by management

- non-competitive compensation despite revenue driving role in multiple verticals - critical infrastructure supported by 'army' of contract employees - inflexibility of schedule - blatant nepotism / favoritism - lack of appropriate expertise and resources, leading to burnout - poor delivery of services as reflection of market duopoly
