Certain managers pick favorites and its clear who they are. I wouldn't recommend working here if you're a woman and don't like obvious advances from certain managers. Often certain managers will try their hardest to hang out with family members of female employees in an odd attempt to entangle themselves in said employee’s personal life, which wouldn’t be horrible if both parties were consenting, ignoring the clear power managers hold over employees, and if certain managers weren’t married with kids and certain female employees weren’t in long term relationships. It doesn't help that certain managers are the only ones talking with certain general managers of the office so any grievance you may have against certain managers will go potentially unheard if you can bring yourself to talk to certain general managers who are equally condescending and can’t admit mistakes. It’s a shame because it does make the workplace feel divided by those who have certain managers favor and those who don't, and its hard not to feel envy towards those who have said favor through no fault of their own. When coworkers have kids they’re ridiculed by certain managers and certain general managers for taking the allowed leave. The ego of certain managers is so ridiculous its almost comical. Certain managers regularly refer to themselves in the third person. Being reminded how unwanted one is on a team by certain managers is commonplace, they’ll loudly say in front of everyone the people they want on their team, of course the women are all on a certain managers team. Be warned they’ll act nice and welcoming in the interview but once your in their interest in you does a 180.

Cigna health insurance makes it extremely difficult if not impossible to find health care providers. The health insurance is basically fake. Cigna will even assign you a case manager who will provide you endless lists of providers that don’t actually take Cigna. If you have a human body, probably not good insurance for you. Officially sanctioned “sink or swim” mentality. Disorganized and “fratty” management. Department heads lack the self-confidence to give speeches to the company. Little training or mentorship. Would not want to be an attractive woman working here. The married sharks do circle (management lol). Being friendly with certain women will trigger social and professional consequences with the random men (usually married) who have laid a claim. Paranoid and incompetent corporate leadership. Open animosity between the highest ranking executives. This is very much a “look busy” job to cover for the fact that you will be, what some may consider, grossly inflating the billable hours worked and passing that on to the utility company. You can ask all you want for more work, but you will quickly see the impossibility of getting it. There are far too many people on this gravy train, all thanks to the “regulated” monopoly utility money. The utility company is ok with it since it could be possible that so many families at ECI have wives, siblings, children working at the client utility companies. And, utility companies may have subcontracted out so much of their internal affairs that they actually lack the in house ability to do it themselves. Yes, I may have my own trusted relationships on the client side. Kinda hard to keep a contract honest when conflicts of interest like purely hypothetical brothers approving each other's work in a client-consultant relationship are (hypothetically) the norm. I’m reminded of organized crime working here. Omerta, sink or swim, hostility to curiousity, suspicion of work ethic. Good people, neurodivergent people, ethnic people, this is no home for you. You’ll find that almost all the good people work almost 100% remotely to get away from the toxic environment.
