Pros

I think Electronic Arts pays comparatively well to other game companies in the industry.

Cons

Electronic Arts is a very large company and it is certainly possible to get lost in the crowd. Although I think conditions vary a lot from team to team. I know lots of people who have burned out from working the long hours and crunching. Although crunching is pretty common in the games industry so I feel like you'll see that anywhere.

Pros

Very nice facilities and perks. The quality stops there, however.

Cons

Long hours, frequent fear of layoffs, ridiculously top-heavy with middle management.

Pros

There aren't many reasons to work at Electronic Arts because they use employees and don't give the respect they deserve. Electronic Arts does not reward employees for working overtime. In fact, they squeeze every bit of energy from employees to produce horribly designed games which are now being sold for way more than they are sold.

Cons

They have been described above. Please keep these points in mind when applying for the biggest game publisher on earth. It's not all that it's cracked up to be.
