Pros

The culture here is very accepting of diversity. Generally this is a place that values people and promotes a healthy community as well as a healthy business. The benefits are good.

Cons

There isn't really a lot to complain about. It does really help if you are a video gamer to work here.

Pros

- Work on some of the biggest games in the industry - Talented people across most functions - Great benefits: health insurance, vacation, fitness, freebies - Beautiful campus in Redwood Shores - Tremendous amount of resources to help any job function - Becoming more process driven to avoid launch-day fails

Cons

- Cringe when your titles release before they're solid and don't do well at launch - Sadly focused on releasing titles in time for earnings reports, but it's just the reality of being a big player in the games space - About a third of your co-workers don't play video games - Pretty bad work/life balance when it's crunch time

Pros

Forward thinking company Amazing initiatives across the board in latest tech and game offerings Faith in executive board as leaders Creative, Fun and great culture

Cons

Collaboration across company is a challenge, however this is a standard problem for mid size firms and nothing extraordinary at EA Very fat middle management layer in some business units make it hard in some projects
