Pros

Remote work was great while it lasted. One awesome manager out of the four I had.

Cons

During my time at EA, there were frequent reorganizations (REORGs), which created a lot of instability and confusion. Leadership attempted to implement an agency-style project management workflow, but many creatives resisted it and upper management didn’t provide the necessary support to make it successful. As a result, teams often lacked clear direction, and some managers in production roles were ill-equipped to lead — relying on gossip and favoritism instead of constructive guidance. The environment became increasingly toxic and made it difficult for employees to thrive or feel supported.

Cons

- Hybrid/more remote, so not great if you want to interact a lot in person
