Pros

Competitive Salary & Benefits: Compensation and benefits are strong for the industry. Work-Life Balance: Workloads are managed well, at least within my direct vertical. Visibility into Leadership: Executives are accessible and open about company direction. Less Bureaucracy: Things move quickly. Less red tape than a large multinational firm. Exciting Technology Focus: Electrosoft is investing in emerging technologies and cutting-edge cybersecurity areas, which makes the work interesting and forward-looking.

Cons

Not necessarily a con; this is a (relatively) smaller firm and that requires more flexibility. In the current GovCon landscape, successful contractors will need to deliver more with less resources. Conversely, though, there is opportunity to take on new challenges and your performance is amplified within a smaller org.

Pros

I was paid decently, but if you are attached to a contract, you are hourly, even if they say you are salary

Cons

The management doesn't listen to people. Everyone seems to be willing to throw others under the bus to get ahead. The upper leadership act like they know everything and are completely infallible. Benefits were terrible. Always insinuated that you should be putting in tons of "OT" with no additional benefit.

Not the worst, not the best

Pros

The work is rewarding. The effects are immediatly recognizable and can be quickly tied into DoD operations.

Cons

Electrosoft themselves is exactly what you would expect from a company that is focused on growth and revenue. Quarterly meetings that go over profitability. At the same time their practice for internal promotions is to have the person work in the position for at least 6 months to prove that they can do the job before compensation or job title change. So for 6 months a person is given the responsibilities of a new position where the only compensation is a Good Job.
