Everything else. I work in a department that has to deal with large group sales people often, and they are some of the most unprofessional & unintelligent people I've ever come across in my career. Lots of strange folk wandering the halls, pushing papers and acting productive. The NYC office tends to be clique-ish and everyone has their own 4-5 person social hour club. Overall, the work isn't challenging, many folks have been there since they were out of college and know nothing else. The stigma of working in health insurance is also one that will stay with you your entire career. Unless you love health insurance, I would steer clear, go to better companies like NY Life, Aetna, Oxford, Liberty Mutual, etc.

Chaos all the time , constant change. Which means constant disorientation and not knowing what the actual direction is for the unit. Managers that don't know the answers to questions and leaves that are experienced in the area that they're leading. HIGH turnover and poor communication or empathy for front line employees
