      Salaries are good, decent benefits

      Treated like a number, constant layoffs, no transparency,, new changes with new CEO have pretty much killed any loyalty for long time employees

      Pros

      The pay and were benefits were good. The job never boring.

      Cons

      Instability at the upper management level causing layoffs every year. The culture of Anthem is changing where they are taking away more and more from their employees. The biggest plus was the ability and flexibility to be able to work from home which is being taken away. With the lay-offs more and more work dumped on remaining employees and unreasonable expectations on the employees regarding work. No path for promotions.

      Some organizations allow Telecommute. Good 401K benefits.

      Cons

      No work-life balance. The company tends to lay-off a lot of people over time; then the one who still employed get to carry double, triple workload.
