Management has favorites. WFH? If you don’t get approval in writing don’t bother because they will try to find a way to get rid of you if they don’t like you. The manager was never in office so I never found a way to gain a relationship and trust her it was the complete opposite actually….The manager is an immensely insecure person that requires constant validation from their subordinates and has engaged in three faced tactics to exploit HR into firing people the manager doesn’t like. (Not saying gender as I don’t feel that’s irrelevant and want to keep things confidential)

State of the art materials R&D lab Facility is only 10 years old and has a small walking trail around a pond with lots of wildlife Co workers were the type of people that made coming to work enjoyable

Cons

Upper management did not, and continues to not, address employee concerns with the R&D manager. Seven dependable, talented, and hard working employees have left the materials lab in the last 2 years because of management's refusal to listen to their concerns. The turnover in R&D will continue until the R&D manager is held accountable for their actions.
