      Pros

      Most employees are incredibly talented, helpful, and dedicated to the company's mission of driving student success. The vision of the company is noble and you feel like you are making a difference by being there.

      Cons

      The company is struggling financially and spends an unbalanced amount of time on cost containment vs. growth. I believe Ellucian is in survival mode and as a result is making decisions to solve short term problems that will harm the company in the long run.

      Pros

      Combined with a brand new, amazing HQ and great changes at the senior exec level, Ellucian is putting itself on the map as a top tech company in the DC area. It's an exciting time to be here. The team I'm on (Marketing) feels like a family and people really do care about the work we do and each other. A rare but wonderful situation.

      Cons

      Are there some "stale" folks here who seem to be phoning it in? Yes, but that's been the case everywhere else I've worked too.
