Pros
The main reason I like working for Emanate Health is the convenience. It's a smaller hospital, easy to park and walk in. I feel fairly compensated for my work. I also love the people I work with. Due to the size of the hospital, you get to know people from other departments and it feels like family.
Cons
Although most hospitals in SoCal struggled during the pandemic with staffing and ratios, my workplace was hit especially hard. It was not handled well and most staff suffered because of this. This hospital also lacks resources such as staffing a critical care intensivist 24 hr/day. The building is older and the company is slow to make improvements.
