      Pros

      This team at Emergent is just a great group in so many ways. Everyone is positive, cares about their work and is competent at what they do. There is no bickering or politics and everyone is willing to help each other out. It is also a very talented group that cares a lot about the quality of work they deliver. Other perks include: -time to learn and advance skills -very nice desks -the office is relaxed and casual -great location with walking to restaurants -free coffee & pop -ping pong -decent cafeteria -good pay & benefits

      Cons

      The pace is quick and sometimes you juggle more than one project at a time so it's not for everyone.

      Competitive pay. The coffee is not cold

      Cons

      Leadership is an absolute joke. The company is run like it is one person billing hourly. The client projects are garbage (hope you like coldfusion and webforms!). They did not pay me on time and my social security number was broadcast on the company wide all distribution list.

      Please disregard this inaccurate review as we work with Glassdoor to remove it from our profile. Although our coffee is indeed not cold, this supposed employee is claiming to have worked for the company for 3 – 5 years longer than Emergent Software has been in business. As a dev shop that mostly builds new solutions for clients, our team develops software using the latest tech best suited for each client’s objectives. We’re afraid developers looking to hone their ColdFusion and Web Forms skills will be disappointed with our focus on modern technology choices.

      Lots of Talent, Potential and Good People!

      Pros

      Growing team consists of all Senior and Principal level talent. Leadership is experienced, accessible, open to new ideas and thoughtful in how they make decisions for the future. Culture is laid back, yet professional. Everyone works hard and self accountability is the bar here. Everyone is genuine, humble, smart, and inclusive. The vibe is very authentic without the corporate shenanigans to force a specific culture. Competitive compensation and great benefits package! Really beautiful office building with a lot of great amenities.

      Cons

      Moving to a new a location in a few months so the current space is in a bit of a flux, but only temporary and par for the course when you're a growing company.
