      A stable long term company

      Cons

      They charge their divisions so much for basic services that they bleed those divisions dry and then sell them to foreign companies.

      Pros

      I've worked at Emerson for almost 20 years and find it to be highly interesting, very challenging and always an adventure. My smart peers are the "golden hand cuffs" that will keep me here til retirement. Loads of integrity.

      Cons

      Lots of travel (pro and con), lots of challenging work, tough love and occasional tension while collaborating between businesses across the enterprise.

      Pros

      I was a boomerang employee - and left a second time due to commute and family demands. I miss Emerson every day (it's been 2 years). Whenever I get the chance to refer someone there I am delighted. Open Door Policy, Leadership Development, Fair with Employees, Clear Expectations, Ethical, Opportunities to Grow Career, Good Communication Plan, Coaching Culture, Consistent and Competitive Benefits

      Maybe more open to remote working agreements
