      Pros

      Emerson is very supportive in continuing education, they refrain from knee jerk reactions to the market, they have a global presence that provides opportunities around the globe profit sharing has paid out over 10% for over a decade, even the last couple years.

      Cons

      Pay is generally on the bottom end of average and they fully acknowledge this, they force their control culture down to subdivsions in whcih different pre-existing cultures have proven successful. This results in fully "Emersonized" subdivisions operating at a sub optimized level.
