Pros
Emerson has a hybrid work policy for the company (2 days in office; 3 days remote) which is by far the biggest benefit. The work is interesting and there's plenty of room to grow and develop within Emerson. Shifting positions within the company is common and is a good way to level up your experience.
Cons
The culture at Emerson is not great. Even though they have a hybrid work policy, there's an innate culture of working and being available 24/7. Very early morning meetings and late evening meetings are common and expected. There isn't a ton of genuine collaboration between departments and there is always a feeling of "needing to put out fires immediately".
