Pros

The pay is decent for what it is (mostly making copies), and I gained some useful academic experience from lightly editing some papers and articles.

Cons

Pros

Emory University has a great deal of resources available for scientific research purposes. There was very interesting and exciting research taking place, the various seminar series allow researchers to stay aware of new ideas and results in their fields.

Cons

Though the university encourages a collaborative environment within and between departments, the overall environment and attitude at the university was a bit snobbish.
