The pay is below average for the type of work There's zero opportunity for upward mobility. Even when you're repeatedly told by your superiors that they know you're capable of more and are being underutilized, they don't offer any path for advancement. You would basically have to apply for another role in a different department that you're most likely not qualified for because it's significantly different from your current role. If there's nothing directly above you (and there probably isn't, because there isn't much granularity in the roles), you're not going anywhere.
