Not a CSM position is a SDR position - Customer Success Manager (CSM) A-SAFE Employee Review

Pros

There are none at all.

Cons

This company does not provide training at all for CSMs. You are expected to learn everything on your own. Three days in you will get your territory and it's best of luck to you, sink or swim. It is more of an SDR role as you are expected to prospect and search for your customers contact information. As well as expected to be your Account managers personal assistant. They do have a bunch of unexplained expectations as well. I recommend that if you take this position that you record every conversation with anyone Manager level or higher (especially the reporting manager over CSMs) as to they are an at will company and they can let you go based on whatever story they make up in their head with out providing documentation. If they said they wrote you up three times it goes by word of mouth. Not a good place to work at all. If you are desperate and will do anything for work, this might work for you.

Pros

A-SAFE makes a decent product.

Cons

Do not walk but RUN from any opportunity with A-SAFE. When I say that this is the worst company I have ever worked for, it's not just my opinion. It should be the company motto. I knew I made a mistake working here when the sales coach was literally encouraging employees to start interviewing with other companies due to poor leadership and inconsistent messaging. This is one of those places that will constantly ask employees for feedback, but if you disagree with the way things are running they will find a way to get rid of you. The most toxic company culture I have ever been a part of. They try to instill fear as a leadership tactic so everyone is constantly wondering when they will be next on the chopping block. Ownership has no idea how to run a company, so every few months they make changes without any kind of real vison or direction. If you do feel stuck here, use your time to start updating your resume and find somewhere else that actually values their people.
