Pros

Working with the kids and families was wonderful. Support staff (non-clinical) was great as well. Pay was excellent (but not worth the effort demanded).

Cons

Everything besides the pros! Other employees (even those working under you as a BCBA) were hostile and unaccountable. Do NOT recommend working here, as they fed so many lies to get BCBAs in the door, then treat them poorly and try to overwork them. Look elsewhere! Mid- to upper-management are bold liars!

Pros

I have truly enjoyed my time at ABS Kids and am grateful for the opportunity they gave me to begin my career as an RBT. The training was thorough, and the support I received while earning my certification helped me build confidence and skills. The staff genuinely care about the children they serve, and I had the opportunity to learn from experienced BCBAs and fellow RBTs. ABS Kids provided valuable hands-on experience, and I am thankful for everything I learned during my time there. I would recommend ABS Kids to anyone looking to start or grow a career in ABA.

Cons

As with many ABA organizations, scheduling changes and client cancellations can sometimes impact hours. The work can also be physically and emotionally demanding, particularly when supporting clients with significant behavioral challenges. However, these challenges are balanced by the rewarding nature of the work and the opportunity to make a positive difference in children’s lives.
