Pros

The one star given is only and only meant for the prompt and ethical response of HR

Cons

1. Before joining nowhere it was mentioned that even if you take 1 sick leave the same will be compensated with your scorecard because sick leave means unplanned leave. So basically one has to plan a sick leave to prevent it from affecting your hard earned monthly scorecard. 2. I joined ADP in September 2023. After working for 9 months I fell ill and was detected with gallbladder stones. I also had to go a surgery and since then things changed and started seeing the true colors of operations management. I made sure to submit all documents and intimate my reporting manager before I underwent the surgery, but I did not receive any confirmation of leave or any acknowledgment from her untill 1 week. I was advised by doctor that I cannot continue night shifts, it can deteriorate my health further. So I had to submit resignation and as my health did not permit, I requested for early relieving. I submitted my resignation and all the medical records available but I was only asked to wait. This further deteriorated my health to an extent I could not go to office anymore. Over and above I had to intimate my reporting manager for every leave I avail else the same will be considered as unauthorised leave. I reached out to my HR and then my reporting manager and her manager finally got back to me asking if I can buy out the notice period. Without any delay I responded and agreed to the same. Unfortunately that wasn't the end of my miseries. After responding as well, there was no update provided until I gave a reminder! Every day I logged in from home, in between the shift fell ill and logged off. Not only this, I was asked for prescriptions to confirm if I am still ill even after providing all my medical documents at the very onset. Finally after giving reminder as mentioned above, my reporting manager got back to me, she called me on Whatsapp and inspite of my health condition, she mentioned that the best they can do is provide me LWP till end of my last working day. When I asked her to give the same as an email, she again said she will get back but never emailed me. I gave another reminder and this time her manager replied to my email accusing me of not reporting to work causing the miscommunication (as if we did not have any online official platform to communicate)even after being fully aware of my condition and that I still was trying every day to log in. In her email no where she mentioned about LWP offered and said "what best possible we can do" after almost a month after I submitted my request to be relieved early. There after simply my LWPs were approved on system and that I can submit my ADP assets. Forget about support, I was not even assured a clear exit or proper relieving. This whole situation has agonised me to an extent I slipped into depression for which I even had to seek medical help. However I was blessed to be supported by my family and friends, I finally overcame this. I was also told by a senior manager during my exit process that if I resign from ADP before completion of 1 year I will not be allowed to come back(of course this information was shared verbally in a closed room as expected so can't quote) but honestly with this experience I am much better having a distance from such management.

Pros

- Established company with a long history and relatively stable business operations. - Provides a sense of job stability compared to many organizations navigating rapid changes in the current AI-driven market. - Lower risk of frequent restructuring or large-scale layoffs than many high-growth technology companies. - Opportunity to work with experienced employees who have deep institutional and domain knowledge. - Predictable work environment that may appeal to individuals seeking long-term stability over rapid change. - Strong choice for professionals who value job security and a steady career path in an uncertain economic climate.

Cons

- Documentation is limited or rusted, and many operational processes lack clear runbooks or standardized procedures, making onboarding and troubleshooting more difficult than necessary. - If you're coming from a modern, fast-paced engineering environment, the organization may feel behind current industry practices and tooling. - Internal politics can sometimes outweigh technical merit or execution. - There are teams with very long-tenured employees where change and innovation can be difficult to drive. - Decision-making often involves multiple layers of approval, resulting in significant bureaucracy and slower execution. - Processes can move slowly, and collaboration is not always transparent across teams, leading to inefficiencies and occasional confusion around ownership. - In some areas, roles, responsibilities, and operational processes are not clearly defined, creating unnecessary chaos and inconsistent ways of working. - Engineering standards and best practices vary considerably between teams, making cross-team collaboration challenging. - Organizational change tends to happen slowly, which can be frustrating for employees who are focused on modernization, automation, and continuous improvement.
