Pros

- Once you learn the "game" you can get rocking and make decent money for a job that requires new education or skillset and will hire anyone with a pulse. - If you perform well / semi well a good chance you can get promoted to management as they tend to hire and fire rapidly. You have the same chance of getting fired once promoted. - Its a good short term job that you can make decent money in if you don't mind selling your soul and becoming the dreaded shady salesman you were afraid of.

Cons

- Management worst I've ever seen, but don't fret you'll have another manager within six months. - The company is a machine that will keep on churning and has done so for over 100 years as they like to tout. You suggestions, good ideas, complaints, hate mail will fall upon deaf ears. - If you just sit back and follow the rules doing everything your manager tells you - you will fail.

Pros

shift differentials, the ability to trade shifts or flex, paid training, premium holiday pay, plenty of overtime hours, and good for employees looking to build their resume.

Cons

you might have to work mandatory overtime during hurricane season, large volume of calls, very fast paced, and you may deal with hostile or panicked callers.
