Pros

Decent pay, helping save lives and property, care for customer, community involvement. People there have a passion for what they do.

Cons

Too many high level high paid execs that are completely out of touch. There are not enough "feet on the floor"-long call wait times, lots of OT, stressful.

Pros

shift differentials, the ability to trade shifts or flex, paid training, premium holiday pay, plenty of overtime hours, and good for employees looking to build their resume.

Cons

you might have to work mandatory overtime during hurricane season, large volume of calls, very fast paced, and you may deal with hostile or panicked callers.
