Pros

Paid weekly Overtime is optional and not mandatory Allows for external priorities like family, school, and life. ADT seriously promotes internally even if the candidate is unqualified and inexperienced. Turnover rate is incredibly high, so you meet a lot of new people.

Cons

I worked for the Field Support Center while I finished my last few semesters of my bachelor's program, and this was literally the worst job I have ever had. The employees at all levels are super ghetto, uneducated, and lack proper work ethics. The pay is terrible for a call center and is probably why ADT cannot hire and retain good employees. There is no communication between departs. The sales department would run a huge sale and not forewarn the Tech Support department making it impossible to staff appropriately. Training is awful. You definitely learn more on the job than you ever do in training. The people monitoring alarms have no idea what the alarms mean or how to respond to them according to procedure. The documentation is either incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or impossible to decipher. Management strongly plays favorites. Grossly micromanaged. Employees committed serious ethical and legal offenses (drugs, drinking, and inappropriate flirting) while at work with no consequences.

Pros

shift differentials, the ability to trade shifts or flex, paid training, premium holiday pay, plenty of overtime hours, and good for employees looking to build their resume.

Cons

you might have to work mandatory overtime during hurricane season, large volume of calls, very fast paced, and you may deal with hostile or panicked callers.
